How to open a personal current account

  • Click here to download the Individual Current Account form; fill it out, print it and drop it off at any GTBank branch. Please attach all account opening documentation.

Account opening documentation

  • Completed account opening form
  • A recent photo ID of the account holder
  • A valid identity document
  • A water or electricity bill dated within the last 3 months
  • A certificate of residence (only if the invoice does not bear your name)
  • Proof of income: work contract, last 3 pay slips, trade register.
